Jehoram

   1) (Qoram) (fl. 9th cent BCE)
   King of Israel (853-842 BCE), son of Ahab. He joined Jehoshaphat of Judah in the war against Mesha of Moab. He was engaged in battle with Aram and was wounded in the battle of Ramoth-Gilead; while he was recuperating in Jezreel, Jehu assassinated him (II Kings 8-9).
   2) (Qoram) (fl. 9th cent BCE)
   King of Judah (851-843 BCE), son of Jehoshaphat of Judah. He was married to Athaliah who introduced the cult of Baal into Judah. During his reign, Edom rebelled against Judah and Judah was ravaged by the Philistines (II Kings 8; II Chronicles 21).
